The Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rio de Janeiro is organizing the next July 16th, at theArgentina Building of Rio de Janeiro, the first edition of “Four Roads to Italy: Invest, Work, Study, and Visit”, an initiative designed to present to Brazilian citizens the numerous opportunities offered by Italy in the sectors of economy, education, work and tourism.
The event will bring together representatives of Italian institutions, experts, and private sector professionals with the aim of providing concrete and up-to-date information to those wishing to build or strengthen ties with Italy. Through an innovative format, the event will offer a comprehensive overview of the main opportunities currently uniting Brazil and Italy.
The morning will feature themed meetings and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, professionals, students, investors, and anyone interested in Italian culture and the Italian market. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with specialists who work daily in their respective fields, gaining practical advice on international mobility, training, business, and tourism.
The initiative stems from the growing demand for qualified information on Italy, increasingly considered a strategic destination for investment, professional development, academic programs, and cultural experiences. In this context, the Italian-Brazilian Chamber confirms its role as a bridge between the two countries, fostering dialogue between institutions, businesses, and citizens.
The event will take place under the patronage of the law firm Novotny, Ney, Saldanha, Penna, Ponte, Vianna and Corrêa Advogados.
Four thematic panels
The program will be divided into four panels.
Investing in Italy will open the proceedings by addressing issues such asInvestor Visa for Italy, the internationalization of Brazilian companies, the Italian real estate market, wealth and succession planning, and opportunities for investors and families interested in expanding their presence in Europe. Speakers will include: Diego Ortiz, head of the ICE Agency office in Brazil, and the lawyer Renata Novotny, founding partner of the Novotny Advogados firm.
The panel will follow Working in Italy, dedicated to the current Italian labor market, the most sought-after professions, the international mobility of qualified managers and professionals, and the prospects offered to young talents. Participants will include: Flavia Galvão And Jacopo Mauri of Golden Star Consulting, together with Patricia Horta, president of the Human Resources Committee of the Italian-Brazilian Chamber.
The third appointment, Studying in Italy, will illustrate the opportunities offered by the Italian university system, with particular attention to undergraduate programs, MBAs, scholarships, admission requirements, and prospects for Brazilian students. Speakers include: Cosimo Pinelli, founder of the International Institute of Cinema, Art and Tourism (IICAT), Alexandre Rese, coordinator of the European Institute of Design (IED Rio), and the teacher and stylist Victoria Flores.
The panel will conclude the day Visit Italy, dedicated to new trends in Italian tourism, with insights into the most popular and emerging destinations, luxury tourism, wine tourism, traditional tourism, gastronomic offerings, and investment opportunities in the hospitality sector. Speakers will include: Daniela Ortiz, founder of Ideia Itália, e Barbara Oristanio, representative in Brazil of ENIT – National Tourism Agency.
In addition to specialized content, the initiative will offer ample opportunities for networking between participants, speakers, and representatives of the main institutions of the Italian-Brazilian ecosystem.
