CapCut, one of the world’s most popular video and image editing apps, will integrate some features directly into Gemini, Google’s artificial intelligence assistant.
The news was announced by CapCut itself on social media. While the details of the integration have not yet been disclosed, the company confirmed that some tools from the app developed by ByteDance, owner of TikTok, will be available within Google’s AI platform.
According to CapCut, the goal is to make content creation processes more connected, intuitive and integrated across different digital tools.
“As workflows become more connected and fluid, we believe the future of creation will be more conversational, intuitive, and intelligently integrated across tools and experiences,” the company said in a blog post on X.
Lapp also emphasized that the partnership represents just the beginning of new features involving artificial intelligence and content creation.
So far, Google and CapCut have not explained exactly what features will be available in the integration or whether a paid subscription will be required to access the new features.
Further details are expected to be released in the coming months.
